JB Weld can crumble. There must be a product that is stronger then JB Weld. Try a epoxy called Super Mend it works very well and is a lot stronger. The best epoxy for metal is Loctite Epoxy Metal/Concrete, a two-part system consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardener.
